What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at Sika AG?
The Production Supervisor provides operational expertise and supervision to the production staff to manufacture sealant hot melt and related adhesives. This position apply knowledge of methods practices and approaches to ensure that the safety of workers the environment and the site are met.
- Maintain and improve safety practices methods or standards to exceed or meet the regulatory and corporate standards for safety
- Perform a variety of product and process testing to ensure that the manufacturing quality standards are being met
- Analyze and develop short term labor plans to meet productivity goals
- Serve as a leader in the coordination with other departments (engineering / maintenance / quality) for the resolution of safety quality or process problems
- Train develop and motivate employees
- Participate in APQP teams
- Determine and execute containment measures in the event of suspect quality
- Develop and execute process improvement measures
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate standards
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
