Based in St. Louis, MO, the Maintenance position is part of the UFCW Local 655. This is a night shift position, 3 days week 1 and 4 days week 2. Benefits are included in union dues!
Responsibilities:
1. Installs, repairs, and maintains electrical systems and components using schematics and/or wiring diagrams according to current National Electrical Code requirements.
2. Builds, installs, repairs, and maintains plant mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using prints and system diagrams.
3. Assists in development of new control, power, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and related documentation.
4. Maintains plant chiller/water recovery system.
Skills you`ll need
Trade School:
Certificates or Certifications related directly to industrial electrical & mechanical, from a credited technical school if prior experience does not represent that knowledge.
Electrical/Electronic:
- Able to install and program new DC and AC motors and motor control systems. Understands system parameters and their functions.
- Able to install and modify new plant controls and sensor systems such as temperature controllers, proximity sensors, level sensors, etc. Understands system parameters and their functions.
- Able to install new control and power circuits in per NEC requirements.
- Able to build control cabinets with discrete and PLC components per NEC requirements.
- Able to troubleshoot PLC control programs for equipment and building systems.
