Job Description
Broad Function and Purpose of Position: Broad Function and Purpose of Position: The Insurance Risk Manager will be responsible for insurance, letters of credit, and bonding.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Partner with teams across the organization to ensure proper management of the Company’s risk exposure
- Manage the insurance renewal process
- Coordinate the completion of insurance applications for renewal
- Prepare documents/schedules needed for the insurance renewal
- Review contracts for insurance requirements
- Review and Monitor Certificate of Insurance Requests
- Manage annual insurance audit
- Manage WC reporting and compliance for various monopolistic states
- Review claim reserves for WC and Automotive claims.
- Report and monitor insurance claims.
- Review Letters of Credit for internal and external projects
- Review Bonding needs
- Special projects and various filing as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 - 10 years of professional work experience in Insurance preferred.
- Superior analytical skills and demonstrated ability to draw conclusions and/or summarize findings.
- Proficiency with Excel and Word software is strongly preferred.
- Strong relationship building and communication skills required to work with co-workers around the world and across all business levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
