Job Responsibilities
- Compliance Management: Manage and verify customer exemption certificates, ensuring accurate data entry into tax systems.
- Customer Guidance: Provide expert advice to customers, customer service, and collections on exemption certificate compliance.
- Data Analysis: Accumulate, review, and compile data for indirect tax filings and analyses.
- Reporting and Reconciliation: Review, reconcile, and ensure accuracy of indirect tax reporting reports before filing and payment.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax
- Proficiency in SAP, QuickBooks, and/or Vertex
- 2-5 years of experience in Sales/Use Tax
- Property Tax experience preferred
- Understanding of US tax regulations and compliance requirements for Sales/Use Tax
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical, and quantitative abilities
