">Job Summary:
">Sika USA is seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for managing exemption certificates, providing guidance on compliance requirements, and ensuring accurate reporting of indirect taxes.
">Responsibilities:
">• Manage and verify customer exemption certificates to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide guidance to customers and internal stakeholders on exemption certificate procedures and compliance requirements
• Enter exemption certificates into the tax system and maintain up-to-date records
• Process sales tax credits and debits to customer accounts accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with external accounting firms to compile data for indirect tax filings and analyses
Requirements:
">• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proficiency in SAP and/or QuickBooks, as well as Vertex software
• 2-5 years of experience in sales/use tax, with property tax experience preferred
• Strong understanding of US tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
