Job Description
Inspection and/or testing of incoming raw materials, in-process batches, and outgoing finished goods according to internal specifications as well as customer specifications using specified lab test equipment. Inspection and release of finished goods before shipping. Documentation of test results in appropriate locations. Assisting of line operators in all quality issues. Responsibility to recharge individual batches of production materials as controlled by customer and internal specifications. Product audits according to customer specifications. Assist with maintaining gage calibration system for all company and customer owned gages.

Job Description

- Responsibility and authority to stop production to correct quality problems with a focus on correcting quality problems with minimal production impact
- Quality testing results
- Documentation of testing and inspections.
- Assisting of line operators in quality related issues.
- Updating of QA – related documentation.
- Fulfillment of standard related tasks & support/coordination with other departments.
- Product audits
- Education required: High school diploma
- Experience required: Experience in quality related functions to include inspection/testing/measurement of product preferred
- Professional license or certificate requirements: Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certificate preferred but not required
- Specific skills, knowledge and abilities required: Mathematical skills, basic quality knowledge, basic math skills, basic computer skills (Standard MS Office applications), basic print reading, communication and problem-solving skills.
