Finance Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our Finance Department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing key insights through financial planning and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess deep financial expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive success.

The Finance Department plays a critical role in driving the company's financial health, strategic growth, and operational efficiency. As a strategic partner to the business, the department provides key insights into financial performance, guides decision-making, ensures financial compliance, and helps the company navigate financial challenges while maximizing opportunities. We collaborate closely with senior leadership and other departments to ensure alignment between financial goals and organizational objectives.
Job Details
Financial Planning & Performance Analysis
- Prepare and present financial forecasts and performance reviews to senior leadership.
- Lead the analysis of financial performance, identify key drivers of variance, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.
Rating Agency Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for rating agencies, ensuring timely communication and alignment with their expectations.
- Prepare and present financial data, forecasts, and strategic plans to rating agencies to maintain and improve the company's credit rating.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with senior leadership, the executive team, and other departments to develop and execute business strategies.
- Participate in key decision-making processes, providing financial insights to support business growth and sustainability.
Other
- Communicate professionally with contacts throughout the organization
- Assist external auditors and regulators with requests for documentation and information as needed.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- 7 - 10 years experience in financial services or insurance industries with a strong background in financial performance management, financial operations, or financial planning & analysis.
- Proven track record leading financial planning and forecasting processes.
- Experience in analyzing financial data and presenting actionable insights to senior management.
- Experience in working with senior leadership on strategic financial initiatives and decision-making.
- Experience working directly with rating agencies to manage credit ratings.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and corporate finance practices.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics, including risk-based capital
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Tools:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis, and financial modeling).
- Strong experience with Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing executive-level presentations, financial summaries, and strategic insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word for preparing reports, memos, and detailed financial documentation.

- Financial management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
