Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within designated areas, ensuring the protection of property and individuals. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and law enforcement duties. The Patrol Officer will be responsible for monitoring activities, responding to incidents, and enforcing regulations to promote a secure environment.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity.
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify suspicious behavior or incidents.
- Respond promptly to alarms and calls for assistance, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce laws and regulations while maintaining a visible presence to enhance safety.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
- Document incidents accurately in reports, ensuring all relevant details are recorded.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
- Participate in ongoing training programs related to loss prevention and security best practices.
- The current schedule is Fri to Sun however the days may vary and the hours might change from time to time.
Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV systems.
- Demonstrated skills in conflict management and effective communication.
- A background in military service is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
