Job description
The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising employees and organizing and monitoring workflow to ensure the production of quality products while maintaining plant efficiencies. The Production Supervisor will focus on the safety and productivity of the team and the quality of the products manufactured.
Required Education: Associate degree or combination of demonstrated relevant education and experience required.
Required Work Experience: Minimum of one-year production experience.
Preferred Education & Experience:
· Bachelor degree in technical, engineering or relevant field
· Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing or quality control in a union environment
· Knowledge of logic or process control system and familiarity with lab procedures, including lab testing
Skills & Qualifications Summary: Supervision, coaching, managing processes, process improvement, tracking budget expenses, production planning, controls and instrumentation, strategic planning, dealing with complexity, industrial manufacturing, excellent people skills, leadership.
