Optical Test Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain test systems, processes and procedures for the characterization of integrated optoelectronic devices and LIDAR systems.
• Write MATLAB / Python / LabVIEW code for test system development and for the analysis and presentation of test data.
• Generate test plans and work instructions.
• Write test reports.
• Setup and configure test systems, execute tests and train engineers and technicians to perform tests.
• Manage test technicians.
• Specify and purchase lab equipment and materials required for testing.
