Roles and Responsibilities
In charge of integrated optical photonics chip test systems, test procedures and automation test program development. Manage a group of test engineers and test technicians.
• Manage a group of test engineers and test technicians
• Generate test plans, procedures, and work instructions
• Setup, configure and maintain test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation as required by the test plans and or test standards
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data results through thorough documentation processes
• Sourcing, obtaining quotations, and selecting required lab supplies and materials for R&D testing
• Validate test methods
Requirements
• Master’s Degree in an engineering discipline (optical, physics, or electrical desired)
• >5 years’ experience in a fiber optical testing environment and working with/testing of integrated optical chips and components
• Familiarity with software products which include: PYTHON, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or other similar software
• Demonstrated familiarity with data acquisition systems, data analysis and processing.
• Ability to maintain excellence and accuracy in a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
• Must work well in a team environment
