Position Overview:
Silco Fire & Security is seeking a motivated leader to become our next Advanced Fire Systems Sprinkler Installation Manager. The Sprinkler Installation Manager is responsible Customer Communication, Job Documentation and Permitting, Project Ordering / Staging & Inventory, Monitor Communication and Supervise the Project Process. This role ensures that all sprinkler fire protection systems are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. The manager will lead a team of Install technicians, coordinate schedules, and provide technical support and training.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sprinkler installation technicians.
- Collaborate with design and customers to effectively schedule & assign projects to installation technicians.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance and provide updates on new procedures or regulations.
- Ensure team compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in and give input to technician hiring, performance, and termination decisions
- Approve / Order ALL Job Purchases (Minimal Tech Purchases Permitted)
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical guidance and support to technicians installation projects.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues with fire protection systems.
- Stay updated with the latest fire protection technologies and best practices.
- Customer Service:
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with customers to schedule complex projects involving multiple trades.
- Provide detailed reports and documentation.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all fire protection systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory agencies as required.
- Training and Development:
- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing technicians.
- Conduct regular training sessions on safety procedures, install techniques, and regulatory updates.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of fire sprinkler protection systems and related regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
