Classification : Full time; Non -exempt
Shift : Monday–Friday; occasional weekends
Location : On-site
Job Summary : The Event Specialist is a vital position within the Sales & Events Department. The Event Specialist owns the event preparation process from pre-show, onsite, and post-show for an assigned portfolio of annual events. The position requires high attention to detail and the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Shipping and Service Providers. In addition, comfort and experience with Firearms, Hunting, Fishing, and Outdoor Sports are essential to the company's culture and this position’s success.
Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions :
- Packing and preparing event materials and services for shows
- When assigned, travel to shows and :
- Assist the team with setting up and tearing down the event
- Maintaining booth setup appearance during show hours, clean and prep for each day
- Processing customer orders, including obtaining digital fingerprints, taking a passport-style photo, and processing payments during events.
- Work closely with Compliance in cataloging serialized materials for events
- Testing computer equipment used at events; troubleshooting on site during shows.
- Creating and ensuring proper submission of documents, when necessary.
- Maintaining inventory of all event and marketing materials, ensuring proper storage and availability.
- Work with CSRO in setting up the firing range for local, live-fire events
- Job Requirements :
- Ability to travel 50-70% of the time
- Weekend availability
- Unyielding attention to detail
- Capability to pivot quickly between projects
- Firearm knowledge
Job Qualifications :
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS :
