Position Description

SilencerCo Custodial Team will oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. The Custodial team is responsible for maintaining a clean and presentable building, both inside and outside. They are responsible for cleaning and disinfecting high traffic areas consisting of but not limited to restrooms, breakrooms, offices, etc., emptying trash, and tending to the grounds of the establishment. Custodians will also be responsible for performing routine checks of minor maintenance issues and forwarding any issues regarding essential services to the Maintenance Department.

Job Responsibilities

• Helps train operators to ensure that they comply with the standards of cleanliness in the Machine Shop.

• Work with all levels of the organization and report to management on growth and areas for improvement.
• Make sure the establishment is clean and meets safety requirements
• Sanitize Restrooms
• Sweep, mop, and run floor scrubber throughout the facility
• Empty trash and recycling in high traffic areas
• Clean offices, conference rooms, and executive areas
• Vacuum carpeted and high traffic areas
• Take ownership of problem solving throughout the facility, and escalate issues to maintenance, and shop management.
• Responsible for managing and consistently maintaining a clean and organized facility
• Comply with safe work practices; understanding work injury procedures, workers comp, and OSHA standards.
