Laser Engrave Technician
Located in West Valley City, UT
Full Time
Day Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM (Monday - Thursday)
Pay : This position starts at $16 per hour DOE
Position Description
Work in an exciting industry as a Laser Engrave Technician. As a Laser Technician you would be responsible to engrave serial numbers on NFA regulated products. Every NFA product manufactured at SilencerCo is heavily regulated which requires each product to be assigned a unique serial number. Having a strong attention to detail is a must, as you will help manage all serialized products that move throughout production. This position has the potential requirement of cross training in other internal departments when laser demand is lessened. This is an entry level position.
This position reports to the Laser Engrave Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Load correct parts into the laser with the correct fixture and program.
- Mark off engraved serial numbers on Manufacture Orders in the system.
- Track inventory in and out of the Laser Department. Put serialized parts onto the correct shelf in the correct bin. Keep unserialized and serialized inventory correct in Locations.
- Knowledge of parts flows in and out of the Laser Department to keep production areas flowing.
- Keep a safe, clean, and organized work space.
- Comply with safe work practices; understanding work injury procedures, workers comp, and safety standards.
