Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Thursday)
- Night Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (Monday - Thursday)
- Weekend Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Friday - Sunday)
Position Overview
At SilencerCo, our Metal Prep Technicians specializing in Anodizing play a critical role in preparing and treating aluminum parts for a durable, corrosion-resistant finish. This role focuses on anodization, an electrochemical process that enhances the hardness and longevity of our components while maintaining precise tolerances.

Key Responsibilities
- Anodizing Process - Operate, monitor, and maintain anodizing tanks to ensure consistent, high-quality finishes.
- Surface Preparation - Perform pre-treatment steps such as cleaning, etching, and rinsing to ensure proper adhesion and uniform coatings.
- Visual Inspection - Inspect parts before and after anodization for defects such as discoloration, scratches, or inconsistencies.
- Process Control & Maintenance - Maintain proper bath chemistry, voltage settings, and dwell times to achieve precise and repeatable results.
- Color Anodizing - Assist in tinting and dyeing processes for achieving specific anodized finishes.
- Routine Equipment Maintenance - Perform regular upkeep of anodizing tanks, rectifiers, rinse stations, and sealing baths.
- Quality Assurance - Use process control data to monitor normality, ensure process stability, and implement improvements as needed.
- Safety & Compliance - Follow all SilencerCo safety standards and best practices, including proper chemical handling, PPE usage, and waste disposal.
- General Metal Prep Tasks - Support additional metal prep duties as needed, including blasting, tumbling, and industrial washing.
Qualifications & Skills
Preferred:
- Experience with anodizing or similar metal finishing processes.
- Ability to operate complex hand tools and industrial equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and ability to work in a team setting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to process improvements.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and quality control.
- Comfort using power/air tools for extended periods.
- Familiarity with SilencerCo products is a plus.
Required:
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- 1 year of basic work experience .
