What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving position at Silent Packaging?
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work in our extremely fast paced shipping and receiving environment.
Responsibilities
- Package items for shipping
- Print and affix shipping labels to packages
- Track orders to ensure timely delivery
- Physically unload shipments from trucks using warehouse equipment
Skills and requirements
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic math skills to calculate quantities and verify numbers on invoices
- Ability to Interact with drivers, suppliers, and warehouse staff
Additional Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience in warehouse shipping and receiving (Required)
- Physical ability to lift and move boxes and other materials
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
