Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Supervisor in our nursing operations. This individual will support the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, patient/family satisfaction, and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, guide, and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
- Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, coordinating with other departments, and promoting collaboration among team members.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff levels, minimize overtime, and reduce agency personnel usage.
- Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, and recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university (BSN preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
