About Our Firm:

We are a small but dedicated law firm with one attorney and six staff members, providing high-quality legal representation to the immigrant community. Our firm is well-respected, known for our client-centered approach and high success rate. We are deeply committed to our clients and take pride in the positive feedback we receive.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Immigration & Family Law Attorney to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be Deportation Defense and Family Court matters. While our firm also handles a significant number of family-based immigration and humanitarian relief cases (VAWA, T-Visas, U-Visas, SIJS, family petitions, etc.), the managing attorney currently takes the lead on those. However, there will be opportunities to assist with these cases if you have an interest.

Additionally, we are open to discussing the expansion of a criminal defense practice if the candidate has experience and interest in that area.

The position may require occasional travel to Charlotte, NC, or Atlanta, GA, for in-person immigration court hearings. While most hearings are now conducted via Webex, some Immigration Judges still require in-person appearances.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • South Carolina Bar license (or eligibility to waive into SC) is strongly preferred, as this position requires representation in Family Court.
  • Spanish fluency is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in immigration law, family law, and/or criminal defense is a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience ($70K–$110K).
  • A supportive, friendly, and collaborative work environment.
  • A balanced caseload to ensure work-life balance.
  • Paid time off, including one week of your choosing and an additional three weeks when the office closes for all staff.

This position requires in-person work in our Bluffton, SC office.
