Job Description

Summary of Position 

As a Maintenance & Reliability Manager, you will play a key role in sustaining day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement in our organization. Your responsibilities will include implementing safety policies and procedures, developing training processes for team members, and ensuring the reliability and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Sustain day-to-day operations and drive continuous improvement.   
  • Implement safety policies and procedures for employees, outside contractors, and vendors.   
  • Develop processes for training and proficiency demonstration of department team members.   
  • Maintain manufacturing equipment focusing on high reliability and continuous improvement.   
  • Maintain building facilities, to include HVAC and electrical.   
  • Prepare site capital plan and prepare Application for Expenditure (AFE) documentation.   
  • Establish and develop contractor relationships.   
  • Coordinate and supervise work performed by outside vendors to ensure projects are completed on time.   
  • Ensure efficient repair schedules including preventative maintenance and cost estimates.   
  • Optimize costs, efficiency, and equipment availability.   
  • Identify required spare parts and ensure availability.   
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.   
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.   
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience  

Required Qualifications   

  • Bachelor’s or Master of Science in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering or relative work experience   
  • 3-5 years of experience working in manufacturing automation   
  • 3 years leadership experience   
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools   
  • AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Inventor knowledge and experience   
  • Strong understanding and implementation of.   
  • Control schematic and wiring diagrams   
  • Control Panel layout and design   
  • Instrumentation and Controls   
  • Electrical and Mechanical schematics   
  • Read Blueprints   
  • Industrial electrical design practices and safety standards   
  • Experience in Robotics programming and interfacing, primarily Siemens and ABB
