- Troubleshooting Equipment and Tooling
- Performing Preventative Maintenance
- Repairing Or Replacing Worn Parts
Your Schedule
- Work 4 days on, 4 days off, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM OR
- Monday through Friday, 2nd 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm or 3rd shift 11:00 to 6:30 am
- Diagnose and repair mechanical systems to ensure smooth production line operations.
- Operate and maintain industrial canmaking machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Use precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to work within tolerances of .0010.
- Monitor product quality and production efficiency to ensure smooth operation.
- Utilize mechanical manuals and diagrams to learn and troubleshoot new components.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently when needed.
- Contribute improvement ideas for the work area, safety, quality, cost control, and productivity.
We Need You To Have
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalency.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to operate and maintain Silgan's can lines by performing and documenting quality checks.
