**What you'll do:
**
- Answer incoming customer calls promptly and in a timely matter within same business day
- Acknowledge, review, process and confirm orders received from the customers with great accuracy on a daily basis in order to schedule production and release closures for shipment
- Review customer account status prior to order entry and process according to Silgan Credit Polity. Notify Credit Manager if over limit or past due. Work with Accounts Payable collections providing Purchase Order, Invoice and POD back-up, as needed
- Review credit conditions to ensure material availability to customers’ requirement. Provide pro-forma invoices for customers who are Cash In Advance
- Gather freight rates for small packages, LTL and TL required for customer invoicing and special customer quote requests. Add freight charges to daily shipments in preparation for billing. Arrange freight for RGA’s and process shipping paperwork for off-site pick-up, as needed

**What you'll need to have:

- Highschool diploma or equivalent; Minimum 2 years related experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel
