Shipping and Receiving Clerk

**What you'll do:

**

• Unload, load, unpack, pack, check, record, count, identify, weigh, disperse, distribute and transport raw, semi-finished, and finished products, parts, machinery, and assemblies

• Adhere to DOT regulations

• Attend storage areas, write, check, file and process items such as stores requisitions, receiving and shipping reports, shop order files, returns, sales, orders, and packing slips

• Maintain records in inventory materials and products as required using CRT and data collection equipment including accounting, invoice payment, purchasing records, transportation charge verification

• Take physical inventory and verify for accuracy

• Process shipping and receiving documents, transport items to and from carriers to assigned areas and prepare items for shipment and operate handling equipment such as cart, hand and power lift trucks

• Provide information on inventory status to Purchasing and supervisor

• Mark and check markings on packages, crates, cartons and boxes

• Operate steel cutting saw and stretch wrap units

• Cycle count all materials as required

**What you'll need to have:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required

• Mobile equipment licensing required, must obtain training for this licensing

• Must be self-motivated

• Comfortable using hand and power tools
