About the Role:
Silhol Builders Supply Co Inc is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic for Diesel Heavy Trucks to join our team in Bridgeville, PA. We are a leading supplier of construction materials and are looking for a dedicated individual to help maintain our fleet of heavy trucks, of which the majority are Ready-Mix Concrete mixers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel heavy trucks
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct inspections and ensure vehicles are in compliance with safety regulations
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
- Assist in ordering and managing inventory of parts and supplies
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as a diesel truck mechanic
- Valid CDL and clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
