We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist who will handle all aspects of payroll, benefits & provide HR Generalist support to all employees and the HR Manager. Silhouette has 125 employees between the US Operations HQ, and remote field sales. The majority of this role is payroll and benefits related tasks.
***This is a Monday-Friday position, Hybrid after 6 months of in office employment.
Duties & Responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.
- Process payroll in Paychex Flex in a timely and accurate manner for all employees according to the payroll schedules.
- Oversee paid time off and attendance record keeping for all employee files; work with Managers to identify and address attendance issues that arise.
- Coordination of all company benefits including open enrollment, 401(k), COBRA, status changes, FMLA, disability, workers compensation, and NYS PFL.
- Primary liaison between insurance carriers and payroll vendor .
- Maintain and update employee records and status, maintain all employee files.
- Performs new hire orientation of new employees which includes new hire paperwork completion, key policy highlights, and a general tour.
- Maintain all personnel, payroll, workers compensation, federal and state files.
- Monitor federal, state, local compliance and payroll tax updates.
- Reconcile all insurance bills monthly and make electronic payments.
- Work with external audit to fulfill annual audit requests.
- Work closely with Finance department on monthly and annual payroll reporting.
- Process garnishments in partnership with Finance Department.
- Track metrics to include headcount; turnover; demographics.
- Track status of employment actions (LOAs, Performance Improvement Plans; Hiring/Promotion/Termination Authorization forms)
- Demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Organize and execute HR programs and company events such as charitable collections, employee appreciation and culture building events.

The Ideal candidate will:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting or related field.
- 2 years experience in a payroll and benefits function
- Have Previous experience with payroll processing (experience with Paychex Flex is highly desired)
- Possess general knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Have excellent customer service attitude and responsiveness
- Be expected to maintain confidential information
- Have a high regard for both people and policy
- Have the ability to prioritize tasks and achieve deadlines consistently
- Possess attention to detail; be able to identify trends and basic math errors in reports; self-starter.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds; sit for extended periods of time; crouch & reach as needed to reach files and supplies.

Salary : $62,000 - $65,000
