Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and reporting procedures.
- Establish construction plans and ensure engineering methods meet high standards.
- Manage subcontracts, major purchase orders, and contractual responsibilities, including dispute resolution.
- Oversee change orders and evaluate their cost and schedule impacts.
- Mentor and lead project employees, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Ensure project profitability through effective leadership and planning.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience managing ground-up multifamily construction projects (Type I, II, III), including affordable housing, student housing, apartments, or hotels.
- Proven track record of success in managing project costs, schedules, and quality.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
