Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead pre-construction activities, including constructability reviews, site logistics, and coordinating schedules.
- Manage commitments with strong follow-through—requesting updates, ensuring promises are met, and providing regular assessments.
- Establish and maintain a safe working environment on the job site.
- Develop, manage, and execute the project schedule.
- Collaborate to ensure projects remain within budget parameters.
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and trades.
- Ensure materials and workmanship meet quality standards and adhere to design specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, inspectors, and other key stakeholders to gather essential project information.
- Report potential issues affecting the budget, timeline, quality, or safety to the project manager.
- Maintain and update project plans, schedules, and daily reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Superintendent, with a background in multi-family construction.
- Hands-on experience in vertical concrete work or related trades is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, including specs, plans, building materials, and methods.
- Proven ability to lead job site safety programs and enforce safety protocols.
- Experience managing large teams of subcontractors effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other operational software.
- Skilled in evaluating and managing trade performance on-site.
- Familiarity with inspections and ensuring all necessary checks are completed.
- Ability to address field-level issues and escalate them when necessary.
- Experience with critical path scheduling, resource allocation, and forecasting for project efficiency.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
