Revenue Analyst

Responsibilities
Revenue Analyst for large fabless semiconductor company located in downtown Austin to join the revenue team. The revenue analyst will be responsible for monthly and quarterly close activities for revenue, including the following:
- Prepare revenue related journal entries and meet all close deadlines.
- Be well-versed in the company’s revenue streams, policies and practices.
- Interact with internal and external auditors.
- Seek out opportunities for process improvements.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and controls.
- Perform variance analysis.
- Work closely with inside sales to ensure proper recognition of revenue.
- Assist with revenue projects as they arise.
- Must be a team player, with ability to interact with multiple functions in the company, and be highly detail oriented.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must have ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting.
- Previous Big 4 experience preferred.
- Experience in a Sarbanes-Oxley control environment preferred.
- Experience in the fabless semiconductor industry and an electronics distribution sales channel is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Experience with SAP ERP, Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) and Business Warehouse is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Master’s degree in accounting

Salary : $70,700 - $131,300
