Senior Business Analyst (IT)

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst (BSA) to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, acting as a liaison between Business and IT teams. The ideal candidate will drive the requirements gathering process, facilitate workshops, and analyze both business processes and data to support feasibility and implementation. The BSA will play a key role in documenting business requirements, user stories, and business rules, while supporting the creation and facilitation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The position requires a proactive mindset and strong relationship-building skills to work across teams, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Requirements Management : Lead the requirements gathering process from initiation through to project completion, collaborating closely with Business and IT teams.
• Workshop Facilitation : Organize and lead workshops, such as storyboarding, translating artifacts into electronic formats, and contributing to design sessions.
• Data Analysis : Conduct detailed data analysis to assess use case feasibility and provide insights for decision-making.
• Documentation : Develop and document business requirements as user stories (scope), business rules, and UX needs. Ensure alignment between business and technical teams.
• UAT Support : Plan and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), assist in creating UAT scripts, and facilitate testing with business stakeholders.
• Business Process Analysis : Analyze current and future business processes, ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer : Support the training of operations teams and ensure successful knowledge transfer to training and communication teams. Assist with user deployment activities as needed.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Enterprise Thinking : Maintain an enterprise-wide mindset, avoiding siloed approaches and ensuring holistic solutions.
• Systems Thinking : Analyze and evaluate complex systems to propose the most effective solutions while considering the broader business impact.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• 12 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) in medium to large-scale projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field preferred.
• Expertise in Agile methodology, with experience working in Scrum teams (Scrum certification is a plus).
• Proven experience in documenting Epics, User Stories, and Spikes using Scrum tools like JIRA.
• Proficiency in SQL is required.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Miro, Jamboard, or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex initiatives with a solution-focused approach.
• Capacity to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Experience with UI / UX design, particularly in the context of Data Dashboard design, is preferred.
• IBAA-CBAP or similar certifications are highly desirable.
• Advanced experience with business intelligence tools (ETL, Data Integration, Qlikview, SAS, etc.) is a significant plus.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
