Responsibilities :
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of financial statements and reports in alignment with IFRS .
- Stay current with updates to accounting standards, providing guidance on their implications for the organization.
- Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, improve balance sheet reconciliations, and implement automation.
- Enhance efficiency and accuracy through continuous optimization of accounting processes.
- Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage and enhance balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and strengthening controls.
- Supervise accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, optimizing payment and collection processes.
- Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts to support strategic financial planning.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support external audit processes, ensuring accurate and timely submission of audit documentation.
- Develop, mentor, and manage the accounting team to achieve high levels of performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the department.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, delivering actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and provide variance analyses to stakeholders.
