Program Manager – Data & Analytics Applications
We are seeking a Program Manager – Data & Analytics Applications to lead and manage complex programs in our data and analytics division. This role is responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and scaling of data-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Scrum and Agile methodologies , project management (PMP certification preferred) , and data platforms to drive execution across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver data and analytics programs on time and within budget using Agile and Scrum methodologies .
- Develop and manage project roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables while adhering to PMP best practices .
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to define program goals and success metrics.
- Ensure the successful integration of data applications with enterprise systems.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies for complex data programs.
- Drive process improvements and best practices in Agile program management for data and analytics initiatives.
- Serve as a Scrum Master when needed, facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Communicate program status, updates, and outcomes to executive leadership.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in program management , with a focus on data and analytics applications .
- PMP, Scrum Master (CSM), or Agile certifications strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading large-scale data platform, BI, or AI / ML initiatives .
- Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data pipelines, and analytics tools .
- Experience with Agile project management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (Snowflake, Databricks, Spark).
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
