Evaluator Special Education Supervisor
Job Goal Special Education resource teacher will provide
instructional, behavioral, communicative, and
social / emotional services to identified students with
special needs according to the student's Individualized
Education Plan (IEP) and Individuals with Disabilities
Education Act (IDEA) guidelines
Specific Job Duties / Responsibilities :
Instructional :
- Provide instruction in all areas of curriculum according to individual student's IEP
- collaborate with general educators and team to provide support in all classes
- using specialized techniques, design and provide instruction in all academic, behavioral, communicative, and social / emotional domains to help students reach their goals
- work with behavioral and academic intervention teams to assist with concerns regarding students
- perform achievement screenings and diagnostic assessments as needed
