About the Job:
- Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.
- Collects and analyzes sputum and blood specimens to determine infection and levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases.
- Measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is an impairment.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, Performs a variety of tasks.
Key qualifications to be considered for this include:
- Associate's degree and credentialed as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP) by the Arkansas Medical Board.
- Expected to maintain BLS and NRP certification.
