POSITION TITLE: Central Office Receptionist
FLSA: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a full-time 240 day contract and salary is based on the Receptionist Salary Schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a professional office setting.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook) and Google (docs, sheets, drive, calendar, contacts, slides)
- Highly motivated with strong organizational skills; able to coordinate multiple tasks at one time.
- Self-starter; able to work independently.
- Strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
- APSCN experience is a plus.
- Bilingual is a plus.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Answer phone, receive messages, and respond to inquiries by staff, parents, or patrons of the district.
- Greet the public and staff and direct them to the correct staff member.
- Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail.
- File and sort paperwork.
- Fax, scan, copy, and email documents.
- Input data for recordkeeping in multiple software systems.
- Receive payments, write receipts, and enter information into computer software system.
- District Homeschool Coordinator.
- Type and/or draft letters of correspondence.
- Maintain and order supplies; organize storage areas.
- Update and maintain vendor information within the computer software system.
- Perform work related errands as requested such as going to the post office and bank.
- Assist with onboarding as needed. (Background checks, fingerprinting)
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Attend meetings and training as directed.
- Present and communicate in a professional manner.
- Work additional hours or overtime as directed.
