Silotech Group is seeking a skilled Salesforce Quality Assurance/Test Engineer to support the QA lifecycle, including test planning, execution, and defect management for Salesforce platforms and integrations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and functionality of enhancements, features, and integrations across Salesforce environments.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Quality Assurance/Test Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive QA processes to validate the functionality, performance, and integration of Salesforce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• QA Lifecycle: Develop and manage test plans, scenarios, cases/scripts, and defect lifecycle management for Salesforce environments.
• Testing Execution: Conduct functional, performance, and regression testing for Salesforce features and associated integrations.
• Collaboration: Partner with developers, business analysts, and project teams to align test strategies with project objectives.
• Requirements Analysis: Review user stories and technical documentation to design and execute appropriate test plans.
• Defect Tracking: Log and manage defects during execution, ensuring visibility through updates.
• User-Centric Testing: Create test cases that reflect end-user functionality and system workflows.
• Technical Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to understand and test integration points.
• Automation Tools: Utilize testing automation tools to enhance QA efficiency.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years in a Quality Assurance testing role, conducting manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Proven experience with Salesforce platforms, including customizations, workflows, process builders, and validation rules.
• Expertise in Salesforce QA methodologies, tools, and testing techniques.
• Hands-on experience in Agile environments and test-driven development (TDD).
• Familiarity with Jira and automated testing tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, reports, page layouts, and best practices.

Certifications:

• Salesforce Certified (preferred).
• International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certified (preferred).

• Excellent technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within Agile development environments.
