We are hiring a Chief Cabin Attendant to lead and elevate our growing team in delivering exceptional service, safety, reliability, and customer care. This hands-on leadership role requires you to oversee trip coordination, cabin operations, and workflow management, leading a team of 10 cabin attendants across a fleet of 28 aircraft. You will work closely with the VP of Client Experience and the Director of Hospitality to drive operational success and maintain the high standards Silver Air is known for.
You will be responsible for coaching, compliance management, and real-time problem-solving to ensure smooth, consistent service on every flight. Your ability to mentor staff, ensure operational readiness, and align service with luxury brand standards will be essential for success in this role.
To maintain flexibility and responsiveness to flight schedules, candidates should be located within a 1–2-hour drive from Van Nuys and available to commute to our Global Headquarters in Santa Barbara once a week. This strategic mix of hands-on involvement and proximity is key to maintaining Silver Air’s exceptional service quality and operational readiness.
Job Functions
- Oversee and support trip coordination , working with flight crews and operations to align cabin service with aircraft schedules and client needs.
- Lead and manage Cabin Attendants , ensuring high performance in key areas like attendance, appearance, safety compliance, and service standards.
- Design and implement training programs, including onboarding, continuous development, and emergency protocols, ensuring attendants are fully prepared for each flight.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to foster professional growth, develop future leaders, and maintain operational consistency.
- Coordinate inaugural flights and service reviews to ensure smooth execution and address challenges in real-time.
- Collaborate with operations and client service teams to ensure seamless communication, maintain service quality, and align with customer feedback.
- Develop and monitor workflows to improve efficiency, track performance, and adjust processes as needed.
- Ensure uniform standards and presentation align with Silver Air’s luxury brand values, maintaining polished and professional appearances.
- Stay current with industry trends to continuously elevate the guest experience and maintain competitive excellence i n aviation hospitality.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
We seek candidates with strong leadership, operational, and training experience, ideally from private aviation, luxury hospitality, or related fields. Given the competitive nature of this role and the high expectations, we are looking for top-notch corporate flight attendants or individuals with comprehensive luxury service backgrounds. Candidates with only hospitality experience in luxury environments are welcome, though familiarity with corporate aviation standards will be a significant advantage.
