Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Support clients in mobility and transportation to appointments or activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all areas are tidy and organized.
- Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, monitoring client progress.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Document daily activities and any changes in client condition, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
Skills
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on senior care and memory care.
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of social work principles is beneficial for understanding client needs.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
