Summary
As a member of the Silver Care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional home care services. This position is essential for ensuring our clients receive the highest standard of support, enhancing their quality of life while providing peace of mind to their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Administer first aid and monitor vital signs as needed to ensure client health and safety.
- Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences of clients.
- Assist with household chores to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Engage with clients socially to promote mental well-being and companionship.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to deliver comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license or certification in caregiving is required.
- Proven experience in home care or similar caregiving roles.
- Strong knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to monitor vital signs effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others.
- Familiarity with home community care practices is preferred but not mandatory.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations is beneficial for maintaining client confidentiality.
- Ability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual client needs.
