Tire and Lube Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for providing excellent service to our customers. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, ensuring vehicles are operating efficiently, and delivering top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and lubrication services on various types of vehicles.
• Conduct tire services including rotation, balancing, and alignment.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist in automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining services performed and making recommendations for additional maintenance or repairs.
• Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair preferred.
• Familiarity with tire service techniques including alignment and balancing.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the automotive industry.
• Experience as a service technician or mechanic is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform automotive diagnostics effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
