SILVER CLOUD HOTEL – POINT RUSTON, Tacoma's newest luxury hotel and home to Tacoma's locally acclaimed Copper & Salt Northwest Kitchen, is seeking a leader to fill the role and enhance our food and beverage team as our Director of Food and Beverage.

Our culinary experience thrives in a vibrant waterfront atmosphere, offering handmade, locally-sourced PNW/Italian-inspired cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The restaurant and lounge accommodate up to 120 guests, complemented by an intimate private dining room and additional seasonal outdoor seating. The hotel also hosts exclusive events and weddings, offering memorable banquet culinary experiences. It features 15,000 square feet of combined meeting space, including a 5,400 square foot grand ballroom with breathtaking waterfront views.

JOB TITLE: Director of Food and Beverage

POSITION PURPOSE: Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Food and Beverage will oversee the food and beverage operations, lead the F&B team and provide dynamic leadership support for the entire division, ensuring thorough adhesion to Silver Cloud culture, delivery of guest experiences, and people development, together with long-term growth and profitability of the division and hotel.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years related food and beverage leadership experience in hotels’ multi-faceted F&B service operations desired, managing multiple direct reports.

·       Excellent organizational skills

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Professionally spoken, written, and comprehension of English

·       Proficiency with financial statements

EDUCATION: Hotel Management degree preferred

COMPENSATION: Wage Range is $112,000 - $120,000 annually and is based on applicable experience and work history.
