Concrete Laborer

Salary: $22 to $45 per hour DOE

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

• Ability to remain upright and to access ground level surfaces
• Knowledge of materials commonly used in concrete projects
• Ability to move heavy materials and tools from one location to another (50lbs )
• Familiarity with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and construction safety standards
• Ability to use common tools, such as trowels, screeds, floats, mixers and saws
• Understanding of how concrete cures and how environmental conditions may impact the process
• Analytical skills to interpret blueprints and construction specifications
• Basic arithmetic skills to perform measurements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a construction laborer or in a similar role
• Experience with power tools and machinery
• Knowledge of basic construction tasks and tool usage
• Good physical condition, stamina, and strength
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads)
• Able to work in a team
