Responsibilities
Our company is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Supervisor to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience operating sausage stuffing equipment, directing workflow, filling out documentation, and multi-tasking effectively. This is a working supervisor position, you will be expected to operate equipment, and you will be trained on different equipment to support the business as needed. The following experience is a plus, but not required: USDA Facility experience, Forklift/Pallet Jack operating experience, previous supervisory experience.
Other Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations in the sausage kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor Inventory Levels and notify Purchaser when items need to be ordered to maintain an adequate stock.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
