Summary : Responsible to coordinate staff schedules, patient assignments, case load volumes, and corresponding reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conducts staff schedule in coordination with manager
- Assigns patients to appropriate clinicians to foster continuity of care within appropriate territories and specialties
- Performs staff and patient re-assignments as needed to ensure appropriate delivery of home health services
- Produces and monitors reports regarding patient and staff scheduling compliance in coordination with manager
- Provides support to manager for operational functions of the department
- Processes payroll for department
- Performs related electronic medical record tasks and functions
- Communicates with clinicians, staff, families and physicians as needed
Requirements : High School Graduate or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Medical terminology, Microsoft office and data entry experience required. Previous Home Health scheduling experience strongly preferred.
