Showboat Branson Belle - Entertainment & Events, Female Singer Auditions (Online), Full Time

Singers must apply AND submit audition in order to be considered for a position.

In search of a Soprano with a strong belt in the style of “Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler and "Heartbreaker" by Pat Benetar. 

This is a Seasonal position that starts 6/24/2024 and ends 12/31/2024.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Submission Information: Video Submissions are required for the Audition and should be sent to sdcauditions@silverdollarcity.com. Submissions should include two songs in the style(s) you do best. A verse and chorus of each song is sufficient, and a dancing and/or acting reel if available. Please send submissions as soon as possible to be considered

Summary:  Portrays role in dramatic, comedic, romantic, or musical production to interpret character or present characterization to the audience by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Rehearses parts to learn songs, dance routines, lines, and cues as directed.
• Applies make-up and wears a costume to change or enhance appearance and portrayal of character or role. 
• Speaks lines from a script. 
• Sings and dances as the role requires. 
• Takes direction from Director or directs self and others in production.      
• Other related duties may be assigned.

Safety Training:

• The vessel is Federally regulated by the United States Coast Guard. All employees will be trained in departmental safety procedures and regulations as mandated by the Coast Guard.

Experience:

• Previous experience preferred; including theme park, theater, and amateur or professional productions. 
• Formal training in voice, dance, and acting is helpful but not required.
