Description

Position Summary:  Interfaces and services designated national/key accounts.  Coordinates and communicates information on all sales opportunities.  Follows T.C.F. program and informs Sales and Marketing Department employees of all trends and opportunities. 

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Interfaces with and services designated national/key accounts as follows:
  • Sells in all new packages, brand introductions and ensures promotional/package offers are delivered and/or communicated to accounts.
  • Informs account of local and national industry trends.
  • Secures appropriate advertising for all packages on promotions.
  • Secures the number one (1) dominant selling position in shelf space
  • Communicates sales volume and execution level by store.
  1. Coordinates and communicates information on all sales and future promotional opportunities to Sales, Marketing and Inventory Management employees.
  2. Coordinates pre-printing and distribution of paper and permanent P.O.S. sold to National Accounts.           
  3. Makes scheduled calls and/or ensures assigned employees make scheduled calls on accounts assigned to Director of Sales, Merchandising Manager, etc.
  4. Provides all reports required by management, i.e. Weekly Roll Over Packaging, AD Volume and Profitability Report, etc.
  5. Develops close personal/working relationships with all assigned accounts, by following Company marketing policies/practices as allowed by the T.A.B.C., to maximize all sales/marketing opportunities.
  6. Follows and strictly enforces Anheuser-Busch and Silver Eagle Beverages Code Date Policy.
  7. Adheres to all state and federal anti-trust legislations.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Management or related field
  2. Minimum 3 years sales experience. Beverage industry sales or management experience preferred. 
  3. Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  5. Demonstrated proficiency in the effective management and motivation of assigned employees and in accomplishing goals and objectives. 
  6. Must handle alcohol and work within TABC guidelines.

 

Physical Requirements:

  1. Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus).
  2. Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 40 pounds.
  3. Must be able to pass Drug Screen and a Physical Performance Exam (PPE).

 

Working Conditions:

  1. All weather conditions (indoor & outdoor) including high temperatures, cool/cold temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snow.
  2. Daylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditions.
  3. Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes.
  4. Work hours will vary daily due to business needs.
