Description
Position Summary: Position is responsible for executing all aspects of point-of-sale operations in order to elevate the image of Silver Eagle brands at retail accounts, Special Events, Marketing and/or Media events.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uses graphics software, including CorelDRAW and the Adobe Creative Suite, to create signs and other Point of Connection Materials (POCM) along with Fiery Rip Software for the production of POCM as directed by all SEBev departments.
- Creates and designs POCM templates using above-named graphics software and brewer-partner’s guidelines to satisfy POCM needs in the market. Self Starter with the ability to create custom designs and vector illustrations for localized Sales and Marketing targets.
- Creates and designs templates using the above-named graphics software, brewer-partner’s guidelines and media partner specifications to satisfy magazine, website and outdoor advertising needs. Must have knowledge of different print medias.
- Manipulates brewer-partner sign-making templates for localized Sales and Marketing POCM programs.
- Lays out and produces On-Premise and Special Event POCM when allowed by the T.A.B.C.
- Ability to assist in equipment delivery, setup and tear-down of Special Events.
- Adheres to safe working practices, company policies, rules and regulations, correcting obvious hazards immediately or reporting them to a supervisor if not immediately correctable.
- Communicates and shares competitive and market information with the Retail Image Manager.
- Ability to work on a team, collaborate with multiple personalities, commit to production schedules, manage multiple projects and deadlines while seeing projects through to completion.
- Provides great customer service in a team-oriented environment. Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
- Receives, documents and stores paper and permanent POS received from all shippers.
- Documents and distributes all resale items and permanent POS.
- Ensures proper stock levels of media and printer consumables at all times and communicates with RIM when items need to be re-ordered.
- Helps maintain a clean, safe working environment at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW and/or Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Preferred 2 years or more of design/printing industry experience.
- Hold a valid Texas Class C Drivers license.
- Driving record within MVR policy guidelines. - No license revocation, suspension, DUI/DWI, careless or reckless driving.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines for projects are met.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Be able to handle changing priorities to meet the needs of the business.
Physical Requirements:
- Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus).
- Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass Drug Screen.
Working Conditions:
- The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes.
- The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, and electrical current.
- Daylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditions.
- Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes.
- Work hours will vary due to business needs and could include some nights and weekends. But the general schedule will be Monday through Friday during the day.
