Job description
Position Summary
- Perform SMT & TH soldering on PCB assemblies.
- Building multiple types of cable and harness assemblies.
- SMT placement using automated and manual pick and place machines.
- Assembly and integration of multiple types of electrical components.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, and work orders.
- Operate Hipot Tester.
- Perform simple production test operations using a multimeter.
- Perform in-process inspections such and pin-1, part number, connector placement, and crimp inspections.
- Use hand tools and power tools to fabricate and assemble components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Position Requirements
- Cable and harness knowledge in IPC 620 standards
- Soldering and circuit board knowledge in IPC 610 standards
- A minimum of 2 Years of assembly experience is preferred
- Experience with hand and crimp tools
- Knowledgeable in equipment such as calipers, torque wrench, microscopes, and scales
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Must have good English and verbal communication skills
- Must have good hand and eye coordination
- Able to work under limited supervision
- ESD Certification
- IPC certification is preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
