Description
The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for owning the end-to-end experience for both our CITC and BirdBuffer customers. This includes but is not limited to creating and maintaining the product roadmap, understanding the competitive landscape, understanding the market, evaluating and sourcing product designs, and delivering any new products and product improvements. This is a highly technical role, where this individual will be expected to understand both the customer workflows but also nuances on the products and technologies. This individual is expected to be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the products and technologies in the portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Delivers a technical product portfolio through day-to-day collaboration and decision making with cross-functional teams.
- Pursuing and curating new ideas, including prototyping and experimentation.
- Builds and improves network of external engineering and product firms to accelerate delivery of new products.
- Understands the specifications and validation methods used in generating those specifications.
- Owns the development of appropriate test methods, data, and techniques for product verification, validation, and performance testing.
- Uses voice of customer to ensure innovation solves problems that need to be solved.
- Maintains pulse on market, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Partners with supply chain and operations teams to deliver quality improvements, value engineering, and design for manufacturing improvements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
