We are seeking kind, creative, high-spirited (no pun intended) craft bartenders to join our team. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive timely, intentional service. Your ability to discuss menu items and provide insightful recommendations will enhance the overall guest experience. You will be paid from $14-$17 per hour (according to skillset) plus tips, which are not pooled. The right candidate is neat, punctual, coachable, and committed.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain mise en place of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Operate the POS system for processing orders and managing cash register transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts for managing cash transactions effectively.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers.
- Knowledge of food safety practices related to beverage preparation and service.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting.
- A passion for hospitality and willingness to learn about new drink recipes and techniques.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
