POSITION SUMMARY:
Silver Hill Funding, LLC (“Silver Hill” or the “Company”) is a new business line that will specialize in making short-term, business purpose loans on residential investment properties to investors that repeatedly acquire, renovate and re-sell or rent homes. The Company’s objective is to build a relationship-oriented, national residential bridge lender that provides best in-class service to its small business clients while delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns to its investors.
The Renovation Draw Specialist will support the Underwriter and coordinate with the Account Executive to process all borrower renovation draw requests. The RDS will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing and processing all renovation draw requests submitted by borrowers in compliance with the Company’s underwriting guidelines. Additionally, the RDS will coordinate with internal partners to deliver a seamless client service experience.
All team members are expected to act as compelling representatives of the Company focused on delivering a superior client service experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external business partners to ensure timely completion of renovation projects
- Monitor portfolio of projects; establish process for communicating project milestones and updating all parties and custom loan origination system as appropriate
- Review and set-up renovation budgets in loan origination system
- Receive and review renovation draw requests submitted by borrowers, update loan origination system accordingly
- Coordinate with 3rd party inspection firm and/or borrower for each draw request to allow for timely inspections
- Manage and track delivery of 3rd party inspection reports
- Review 3rd party inspection report within 24 hours of receipt for completeness and accuracy; communicate to applicable parties promptly of any deficiencies
- Prepare renovation draw disbursement recommendation and necessary documents for review by management and servicing partners
- Communicate with all parties regarding expectations for timing of funding
- Collect and maintain borrower / contractor wire information
- Initiate wire process to remit renovation draw to borrower / contractor
- Update custom loan origination system to reflect updated loan balance; confirm updated balance with servicing partners
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Familiarity with residential real estate, construction processes and mortgage lending

- Open to direction and collaborative work style
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of prior experience in construction lending, mortgage banking, and/or mortgage servicing
- Client service experience also beneficial
- Base compensation is expected to be $60,000- $75,000 with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation.
